Tahoe Compounders specializes in pharmaceutical compounding which is the art and science of preparing custom medications. As prescribed by a physician, we custom prepare medications using several unique delivery systems such as creams, transdermal gels, and suppositories. We can also change the strength of a medication, alter its form, or add flavoring. Preparation of these specialized products requires chemicals and equipment that are not available in most pharmacies. Working with patients and physicians, we formulate quality solutions for the patient’s healthcare needs, with the goal of achieving maximum benefits, increasing compliance, and improving medical outcomes.

We have pharmacists and technicians that have extensive training in the latest compounding techniques.  Our compounding pharmacists are available to discuss special needs with the healthcare provider and patient to come up with solutions to meet those special needs.
